Car runs fine, however, started having problems with overheating. I have replaced the reservoir pressure cap, thermostat, fan motor and fuse; all damaged with no certainty on the thermostat. Driving to work and noticed heat indicator rising again. What else could I check to fix problem?

have it pressure checked for an itnernal leak like ahead gasket/intake gasket
then check the rad for cold spots, if you feel any the rad need s either rebuilt or replaced.

Just to add to this is the radiator fan working when should?Does it come on between 222-226 degrees?What is the temp gauge rising up to that has you worried?

Installed new fan motor and fuse last night, started working fine. This morning on way to work needle moved to almost half. At work now, will conduct recommended test later. Drive home will be true indicator. Will advise later.

The fan comes on normally when the temp gauge reaches just over half way on the gauge.But heres the problem there is only one temp sensor on the engine that runs the gauge and the temp the computer sees to turn the fan on.Those have a high failure rate and when they fail they read lower then actual temp so you could be overheating and never see it on the gauge.Thats why i asked what temp the fan comes on at.I use a infared temp gun to measure the temp on the head right where the upper radiator hose goes onto the head.
