How much should it cost to replace a muffler on a 1998 Saturn SL 1? I went to one of the "big chain" stores. They said I would have to replace the muffler as well as the whole pipe it's attached to as well & would cost me $600. They said I couldn't just replace the muffler. Please help as I don't know anything about cars. Thanks!
