Just to add to this one you can rent a tester kit from auto zone for free you just have to buy the test fluid that takes fluid that fits into your coolant bottle opening you run the car and watch the fluid in the tube change color to see if there really is coolant being burned.You can also remove your spark plugs and see if you can see any coolant in the plug holes.
