Does the battery light turn on when the ignition switch is turned on?

Hey caradiodoc how have you been?Just to add to this one most likely if the new alternator is not charging you got a bad alternator or the fuseable going from the starter to the back of the alternator is bad.See if you have battery voltage to the battery post on the back of the alternator the one with the 10mm nut holding it on.if not bad fuseable link.Thought i would share my most common things i have seen.
