SO you have the manual a/c heater control it's not auto climate control?

1. Fit hose clips on the hoses by the heater-box.
2. Remove the hoses from the heater-box.
3. Blow compressed air through one of the hoses to empty the heater box of coolant.
4. Carry out the following operations:

o Remove the glove box.
o Remove the panels on both sides of the centre console. See: Body and Frame\Interior Moulding / Trim\Console\Service and Repair
o Remove the cover round the ignition switch. See: Body and Frame\Interior Moulding / Trim\Dashboard / Instrument Panel\Service and Repair
o Remove the rear ashtray.
o Remove the rear air vents and the cover.
o Remove the screws securing the rear part of the centre console.
o Remove the switches for the window lifts.
o Remove the ACC control module, if fitted.
o Remove the centre console. See: Body and Frame\Interior Moulding / Trim\Console\Service and Repair



5. Snip the cable ties and remove the rear air ducts on the floor in front of the heater box.
6. Open the heater box enclosure.
7. Remove the clips securing the hoses to the heater box.
8. Remove the toggle clips on the side of the heater box housing, pull down the hoses and lift out the heater box.

Heater Box Installation


1. Position the heater box in place.
2. Check that the 0-rings are in place and that they are undamaged. Refit the hoses and secure them with the clips.
3. Close the heater-box housing enclosure.
4. Refit the rear air ducts on the floor and secure them with a cable tie. Carry out the following operations:

o Refit the centre console. See: Body and Frame\Interior Moulding / Trim\Console\Service and Repair
o Refit the ACC control unit.
o Refit the switches for the window lifts.
o Refit the rear part of the centre console. See: Body and Frame\Interior Moulding / Trim\Console\Service and Repair
o Refit the rear air vent and cover. Refit the rear ashtray.
o Refit the cover round the ignition switch. See: Body and Frame\Interior Moulding / Trim\Dashboard / Instrument Panel\Service and Repair
o Refit the panels on both sides of the centre console. See: Body and Frame\Interior Moulding / Trim\Console\Service and Repair
o Refit the glove box.



5. Refit the coolant hoses on the heater box and tighten the hose clips.
6. Fill up with coolant
7. Bleed the system as follows (V6 engine only):

Fill the system to the MAX level, refit the pressure cap, start the engine and warm it up, preferably at varying speeds, until the radiator fan cuts in.

Remove the pressure cap and top up to the MAX mark.

Refit the pressure cap and run the engine at varying speeds until the radiator fan cuts in three more times. Switch ofl the engine and top up to the MAX level as necessary.

HEY WHATS UP TO REPLACE YOUR HEATER CORE U WILL NEED TO ONLY REMOVE THESE COMPONENTS , FIRST THE RADIO ,ACC UNIT ,ASH TRAY & THEN CHECK & LOCATE 2 PUSH TYPE CLIPS THAT HOLD THE CONSOLE THAT U JUST TOOK ALL THOSE CONPONENTS OUT OF ,AFTER REMOVING THAT LOOK DOWN ON THE HEATER BOX ASSEMBLY U WILL SEE A SMALL DOOR REMOVE THAT DOOR & U WILL THEN SEE THE HEATER CORE ,TAKING NOTE THAT U HAVE ALREADY DRAIN THE COOLANT OUT ,NEW KIT SHOULD COME WITH NEW O-RINGS & LOCKS ,REFITTING IS REVERSE OF REMOVAL.GOOD LUCK.
