1998 Renault Grand Escape 2.0 having problem with my gear sometimes it does not change and lost of power on the 1st gear.

how do i tune my engine to higher rpm too low and it keep on shaking and die off.

how do i check on the gear box mounting weather still good or have to change.

the tempreture is also above 5 bars - how do i bring it down?

we have no information on these vehicles. but for the gearbox mount check and see if hterubber is cracked or broken sometimes you can brake torque this and have an assistant look to see if the engine jumps. that is usually a good indication of a broken gearbox/motor mount. try cleaning the throttleplate and idle air control valve with choke cleaner, that may help on your idle problem alot of them get gunked up with oil and stick and cause that problem
