I have a 1998 Sunfire with a 2.2lt engine.The car intermittently will hesitate when accelerating or deaccelerating. The PCM will set a PO122 fault which is the TPS sensor. We also checked the wiring to the TPS back to the PCM. We have removed the TPS and had it checked and it works ok. Have have also replaced spark plugs,plug wires, fuel filter,fuel pressure regulator, EGR valve and the PCM and the problem still exists. Fuel pressure has been checked and pressure is ok. I am lost on this. Could this be a electrical issue and not fuel related? Also checked Vacuum and it checks ok too. Any ideas?
