sometimes when the low fuel light comes on?

that's the low fuel warning.

so the stereo is suppose to shut off when it makes the ding noise the stereo also shuts of if u open the door and it makes the ding noise but not all the time

any time you open the door with teh key in the off position it will kill the radio. if the keyis on and the radio quits then something is wrong, like a wrong hook up timer, etc.

ok let me try again lol when the car is running and the low fuel kicks on or a door opens the radio will shut off when the ding noise is made but not all the time.. the stereo is hooked up with a wireing kit so that shouldnt be the problem

then check for a bad body ground, like battery to body, engine to body etc. check that first. it could also be amodule or a short bu ta pro would have to check that out.
