My Question is about a 1998 Plymouth Voyager SE 3.3. It has no low beam headlights or tail lights. Also all the lights are flashing on the a/c windshield etc.... below the stereo on the center console. I was told it was a body control sensor. I think it is something simple . I am thinking of purchasing this vehicle for 450.00 dollars . can you help me

Without doing some troubleshooting, the most likely head lamp problem is an overheated contact in the head lamp switch or an overheated terminal in the switch connector.

The entire plate around the radio contains the heater / AC computer. If it is unplugged or if the battery is disconnected, that computer has to be recalibrated. That was real frustrating on the '97 models. I never heard of problems with that procedure on the '96 or '98 models. The air conditioning system must be working to perform the "cooldown" half of the procedure.

Personally, I'd gladly pay twice as much for a nice '88 Grand Caravan to replace my old rusty trusty daily driver. I wouldn't walk across the street for a free '96 or newer model.
