car idles perfect on 900RPM, as soon as i accelerate, the car sounds like its suffocating from the box filter.

hi, on a cold start, the car doesn't want ta start, after i play around with a couple of sensors (Air flow metre etc) the car eventually starts, as soon as i remove the throttle body sensor, i can start the car on a cold start. but cannot rev the car... car idle's fine.
after reading so many forums, i think it might be the crank sensor?
please let me know as i am struggling with the car. when i put the car into reverse and not releasing the clutch, the car dies. other gears are fine, i have changed the air flow metre but with no luck...
