1998 Oldsmobile Aurora Run away idle

70 deg. outside, 1st start of the day and the idle RPM jumps up to 3000 and stays there until I shut it off. Restart without a problem (normal idle). Last few days it will want to idle up to 1500 Rpm while driving around town with and w/o the a/c running. No trouble codes, no vac. leaks found.
Anybody care to take a guess???

try cleaning throttle plate on both sides and iac hole with choke cleaner. sometimes they stick from gunk
