I had a question about the tail lights. I just got a 1998 oldsmobile achieva. Now I test drove the car for about 40 minutes, and nothing was wrong, drove good and was fine, well after i had drove it 25 miles after I had bought it, the lights behind my odometer and speedometor went out along with my tail lights. Now my hazard lights and check engine lights, all of that works, the gages all work, the break lights work, all of that works except those things. We checked the fuses, and one of my fuses keeps burning out, even when we put a brand new bulb in there, and the fuse for the other lights (not the tail lights) isn't blown. Anyone have any idea what that could be.

it could be a shorted bulb in the rear of the car, a bad circuit board behind the cluster or wiring issues.
