Thank you for your time, my car just started, "Putting" barely excelerating this morning only going about 30 mph, I tried to speed up but nothing happnes and it keeps making the putting noise- Can you tell me what it is?

First, has the check engine light come on? Have you checked the catalytic converter to see if it is plugged? Finally, have you checked fuel pump pressure?
