Hello, i had already run across that post from doing research before i posted the question(thats also how i foiund out how to test the hi pressure switch). i tried that also but still would not take the charge. took the car by a local shop and the guy said it sounded like i had a blockage somewhere that was causing the ac not to circulate properly. he seemed to think that it may be a stopped up orfice tube or a faulty drier considering the line was ice cold but still blowing hot air.do you think he is on the right track??

hello, i thought it was the drier. mounted on the pas firewall, round cyl.,has a line going in the center top, same line that has the recharge port, another line comes out the top and curves around and goes back thru the firewall. the switch i jumped and tested was located on the top of the drier in between both lines. am i testing the right thing?
