I have a 1998 Mitsubishi 2.4 L Eclipse Spyder. I am not getting enough cooling when I turn the air conditioner on. I have taken it to be serviced twice and both times they tell me there are no leaks and the thermometer goes to 65 degrees, but when I put my thermometer it says 79 degrees. I checked the sight glass I can see the 135 flowing so it has freon. I also checked the manual and it has several things that can be causing the problem. I really do not want to start pulling sensors until I can get a firm answer from your mechanics.

if you have a sight glass and see bubbles then it is eitehr to full or not enough. theonly way to check this properly is to hook up a set of gauges. Then do a performance test on it. If you have electric fans at least one should come on when you start the a/c.there are several things that can cause this, one of them being the one of hte vents in thehtr box not working correctly and not blocking off the heat. Also if you have a "bug screen" in front of the condensor take it off as this blocks the air flow going in an dmakes it not work right. You really need a professional to look at this that knows what they are doing. 65 degrees is not enough to give proper cooling, it should be at least 48 discharge air comingfrom the middle two vents. If not something is wrong. Pulling sensors will only aggravate the problem. This could also be a vacuum leak. do yourself a favor take it to a pro who knows what they are doing. One that specializesin A/c or can fix the problem.
