1998 mazda 626 2.0 liter standard transmission hesitates and chuges under acceleration only when cold,also compressor kicks in about every 30 seconds.

Is the Check Engine Light indicating and have you tried to retrieve for trouble codes?

Was any repairs carried to A/C system prior to compresor cutting in/out so often?

No engine light and I Havn't had it analysed yet, was hoping just water in the fuel. AC has not been touched ever.

Poor performance when cold are most commonly due to bad spark plug wires. Have them checked.
