town car suspension compressor cycles about every minute

yes it could. when the pressure drops, the compressor will come on to keep the vehicle from altering heights.
when turned off, the vent solenoids are closed keeping the height the same.

Turn off the air suspension in the trunk and go fore a 10 min ride.when you get back see if the car is sitting low in the rear . Do thos and get back to me.

I drove the car with the suspension switch off. The was a slight bit lower in rear but not dramaticaally low. Then i removed the air line from the drier. When the compressor cycled on.... i heard a click from the air bag area and the car sat all the way down. I then plugged the air line.....which had air coming out of it (which i thought air should be coming from the drier, so obvoiusly there is another pressure line coming off the compressor) back into the drier and the car came back to full height and compressor cycled off. So i need help determining whether the leak is mor likely in the airbags.... or a line from the compressor.

If when you drive the car with the switch off and the rear drops you need rear bags. Thay should not be leaking down on a short drive. With the switch off no aor can be added or removed from the system. The bags @ the solinoid which is on the bak is sealed @ this point. So if you drive the car with the switch off and it drops at all. You have a bag or solinoid leak. The lines don't hold pressure. Small leaks from them is normal.
