We changed the blender door actuator on the car. Before we changed it we had only air-conditioning. Now we have Luke warm air most the time the air does not work and that he does not work. I can hear the actuator opening and closing the vents when I try to change from Air to heat. I can't figure out what is going on

Is the door sealing completely when closed? is the actuator moving the door through its complete range of operation?

I am not sure the dash is back on and everything I can hear it's opening and closing but I don't know if it's the entire way.

I would be ensuring that this is correct first.

If you release the attach from the actuator to the door, and ensure that the door is fully closed, can you adjust the position of the actuator so it will be in the same position? I have not seen one of these as I am in Australia, but many systems work on the same principle, is there any adjustment?

I am really not sure. When I turn the air on I could feel cold air flowing with the hot air. That's why I'm assuming that the doors are not closing properly.

Sounds as though this is the case, try and disconnect the blend door actuator and close the blend door and see if it makes any change.

How do I stop it from happening once I install the Blend door actuator again. Do I just have to ensure or that the blend doors closed or open when I install the actuator?

I would, activate system and set to heat and make sure that the actuator has advanced to that position, set blend door to full heat and attach actuator, if the actuator is in the full heat position and the door is also in full heat I feel that the system should be ok, if not there may be a problem with the actuator not going through it full range of deflection, this will have to be checked first hand, I can't tell without actually seeing what is going on.
