You need to get a scan to identify any unresolved fault codes, do this first.

Hi,
I just got it checked out and the code is P1744 torque converter slippage. The tranny shifts great ! no slippage or wired shifting. A friend told me it most chances are it it a celionid [sp] or electrical in nature ? ANY ADVICE ??????

can be a torque converter lock up clutch solinoid, but this will have to be tested first hand by a mechanic or a trans specialist, i would do this next.

If the TTC fails in the lock up position, the car will want to stall as it is basically trying to drive off in top gear all the time.

Well I have put over 2000 miles on it and sometimes it comes on 3 or 4 times in 100 miles then it will not come on for 1000 miles so I have came to this realization . It is nothing at all. The car when bought had sat for 4 years and 2 mechanics figure it is just sticky and will work it self out. It shifts right runs fine so it in my mind is nothing to be concerned about.
