Brake reservoir at MAX, start car, brake reservoir drains within a minute to MIN, turn off car, brake fluid returns to MAX slowly in a few hours. No leaks, stops good, may have been doing this for a long time…what is going on? Please include step by step instructions on how to rebuild the defective parts, include pictures/diagrams of my particular car. Where is the brake fluid going and how is it being pumped back? I replaced the front rotors and pushed out some reservoir brake fluid. I discovered this problem when looking for the reason brake fluid was on the garage floor. I my not do the work myself, but I need to know if the mechanic I choose can fix the problem without just replacing parts!

have a local pro look at this this is something that may be worng with the abs unitand may have air in system or in accumalator of abs system. It should not do this as you woudl have no reserve left in abs unit for braking. this has to be checked by computer to see if anything is worng with abs, whic in this case i think is.

No OBD trouble codes… please fulfill my full request. “It should not do this as you woudl have no reserve left in abs unit for braking.” No fluid is lost!

you are not going to find OBD codes with an abs problem you need a specific scaner that can read abs codes. You don't understand how abs units work. they have an accumlator that holds fluid so when you lose power you still have power brakes it Has tobe going someplace that is why it should go to a pro and have him look it over. It is your life and whatevery ou damage when your braeks fail and they will. It doesn't matter that fluid isn't being lost, it's going somewhere and has to be found that is why a pro if better to look atit . we can't see it so it is extremely hard for us to diagnose something like this.
