Can I put a rear and front 1980 Gm axle under a jeep grande Cherokee 1998 limited.

The axles are 1980 with gear ratio of 3.73 just like the jeep. Is it ok and safe Aldo? They both have the same gear ratio of 3.73?

You'd have to weld in new mounts.

You'd also have to measure from the diff to the backing plates and compare.
