my jeep is back fireing and shutting off! when it backfires the rpms drop to 0 !!!! and it sometimes starts back up and sometime it doesn't and I have to pull over and restart!!!!! I have already replaced the cap&button didn't any!!!!!!!!!! please help

You need to list the engine size when asking about an engine running problem. In this case, I'm guessing you have a 4.0L. Start by checking the diagnostic fault codes. Cycle the ignition switch from "off" to "run" three times within five seconds, leave it in "run", then watch the code numbers show up in the odometer display. Holler back with those numbers.
