1998 Isuzu Trooper transmission

I was driving my car and suddenly the transmission stop responding just on the last change which is (L) i turned off the engine about an hour and i turned on it again and it works again normally like never happen something the second day i drive it again about 12km and it writes on the bored (check trans) and (ABS) i turned off the engine and turn it one and it work normally and the light turned off on the bored thanks plz tell me the problem
