makes a clicking noise when trying to start

Mostly starts in neutral it doesnt want to start makes a clicking sound if i put it in neutral it starts.

Seems the Park and Neutral position switch is faulty or out of adjustment. If the P indicator light does not turn on or blinks when trying to crank, check its adjustment.

Try wiggling the gear shift to see if it works.
