starter went out i replace it and the car will not do anything. wont make any attempt to start now

When the starter was going out it was hesitation to start at first. Last time I truer starting the car it made noise like it want to start but it sounded like it wasn't enough juice to start then smoke start coming from under the Hood and after the new starter has been replace the car doesn't do nothing. I replace a battery still nothing. I hit the reset button for the factory alarm still nothing what does the problem seem to be.
