Only Certified Tech Engineers who have the qualification to repair, test and sign off on the standard of safety, as set by law in some states, before the car is deemed to be safe to drive.
You never know if something done incorrectly could get the air bag to deploy while you are driving and then your insurance might fault you for not having the system repaired by qualified personel. It all depends on where you live and your insurance. Just wnat you to know how serious some places and insurance companies take this. You should consider looking into what might happen with your insurance if it deploys without a collision or does not deploy in a collision as the form the Techs sign off on put them at liablity for this in some areas.
