brights lights toggle at night

got a 98 hyundai accent... at night the brights lights go on by itself...especially when I indicate to turn left. What can be the cause?
I have never done any electrical work on the car...problem arose from nowhere!

Sounds like the high low beam part of the head light switch turn on the head lights and move the switch a little forward and backwards and see if the high beams come on without turning them fully on.
