maintenance light on 98honda crv 130,000 miles is on .. oil and other fluids are good what does this mean?

If it is like our 2002, the maintenance light comes on periodically to remind you, you have too much money, and need to go spend it at a repair facility. If you are in tune with your own vehicles maintenance, you just reset this light when it comes on. On our 2002, you push/hold the trip reset **** that is on the instrument cluster, turn the key on while holding it, and the light should flash indicating a reset.
