Hello,
I have a 1998 Honda civic DX coupe manual 5 speed. I did an engine swap with the same engine D16Y7 and I am not getting any spark or fuel but it will crank over. I thought the Main/Fuel relay was bad but i replaced it and its doing the same thing. I have figured out from some research that pin #2 is the ground. I used a continuity test and it is not working, so I do not have ground at PIN #2 which i think is the problem I'm not getting the fuel pump to prime. I'm hoping that there is some kind of sensor that will make the spark plugs spark when there's fuel pressure.
As far the the spark issue, I have 2 distributors I have been messing with. They both are getting 12V when key is on, but no spark at the coil. I'm thinking there is a bigger problem because the odds of 2 coils being bad is slim. But you never know.
So my question is where is the ground for the Main/Fuel relay? Where does the wiring harness go from the main relay? Also any ideas of why I'm not getting any spark at the plugs?
