Disconnect the battery negative cable.
Remove the exhaust manifold pipe.
Remove the engine to transmission brace rod mounting bolts.
Remove
Remove the starter heat shield the engine to transmission brace rod.
Remove the wires from the starter solenoid.
Remove the brush end bracket attaching bolt.
Remove the starter motor mounting bolts.
Remove the starter from the vehicle.
Remove the brush end bracket from the starter, if necessary.
