1998 Tach abd Speedometer don't work, also the shift indicator light goes out when the Truck is started?

Problem started out very intermittent, now the tach ans speedometer are both not working the shift indicator light comes on when the key is turned to the on position, but when you start the truck, light goes out. All other gauages work fine, also loose power at the fuse for the shift indicator when truck is started. On take off truck feels like it is in 3rd gear (auto trans) very slow, if the tac and speedometer come back on while driving trans works fine. Where should I start?
