1998 GMC Jimmy - will only start when it feels like it... new wires, plugs, cap, rotor, fuel lines and fuel pump. Sometimes will start and stop all day - next day it will not start till later in the day.

If it cranks good but won't start, have a helper crank it, while you check for spark at the plugs. If you have spark everywhere, use a gage and check fuel pressure.

Spark plugs have all been changed and there is a spark. Fuel pump is brand new - pressure is good, all fuel lines have been replaced, rotor, distributor cap all new and it cranks. No codes show up when on the scope - not sure what else to look at??? Any ideas would be greatly appreciated. Thanks..

If you have the spider fuel system, they are noted for problems. The fuel poppets may need cleaning?
