1998 GMC C2500 won't run

It all started when I was a little boy ....jk jk Ok I had to change the steering column , replaced it with a 1996 Yukon column ..... after that it would not run . Have since replaced Fuel pump and filer both new , Cam sensor , TPS and as a hail mary I replaced ECM Used though . I get get it to start and it sounds good ... but it the longest it has ran has been about 8 seconds . when it starts running as soon as you hit the gas pedal it dies ...... it by the way is has done the same thing after every new part NO difference ... I was only able to test fuel pressure --- In range and the tps which did not test good the other parts were shots in the dark
