1998 Ford Windstar 3800 speedometer does not work. I have changed the speed sensor on trans and still does not work. Trans goes into limp mode, any ideas.

there is a driven gear under the sensor. it is tough to see but that may be the failure. if not, then you have a cluster issue. that means the cluster may not be translating the info. a shop can check this with a scan tool to see if the scan tool sees a speed.
