Overdrive Solenoid replacement

I have just purchased a 1998 Ford Explorer XLT and the overdrive light is flashing. I was informed that the Overdrive Solenoid needs to be replaced. I have looked at the transmission and notice possible 3 solenoid-like shaped items. Can you tell me if I am looking at the right area and how easy would it be to replace myself?

Hello,

Here are diagrams below that will show you which shift solenoid does what

1.Disconnect the torque converter clutch (TCC) solenoid electrical connector.
2.Disconnect the electronic pressure control (EPC) solenoid electrical connector.

To be sure of the solenoid location check the wire color going to it and then compare it the the wiring diagrams below

Check out the diagrams (Below). Please let us know if you need anything else to get the problem fixed.
