Ok. Sometimes you have to program the remote to work with the controller. Check through the instructions to see if this is the case. There should also be a troubleshooting section at the back of the manual.

Make sure all electrical connections between the control unit and the vehicle's lock system were done correctly. Make sure you connected those wires to the proper relays and to the proper position on those relays.

Return the fob and request a new one. It sounds like the one you have may be defective. It sounds like you have followed the directions. Make sure to recheck wiring if you haven't already.

FOB is key fob. The remote. As my colleague states, it sounds like either the remote or the receiver is defective.

The passive anti-theft system module is located behind the top right side of the dash.

Your vehicle may be equipped with electric door locks, but not necessarily remote door locks. That may also be why the remote isn't working. There's nothing to receive the signals from the remote.

It's a box with wires going to it. Some are black, some silver, others may be white. There may be a label on the bottom of it identifying its purpose.

The easiest way is to have a Ford dealer look up the installed factory options for the VIN.

Just because there are buttons to lock and unlock the doors inside the vehicle doesn't mean that a remote entry system is installed.

Yes. There is the option to attach an image. It should be just below the reply box. I can't guarantee whether we'll be able to tell anything from the picture, though.
