New rotors and pads on rear about 1 year ago. Also replaced parking brake shoes and hardware. No noises until now. Rhythmic squeal from right rear that stops when brakes are applied.
Removed caliper, pads. Cleaned rotor and removed all dust and debris from inside back of rotor and surrounding areas. Cleaned and re-lubed all caliper slide points and pins.. Cleaned and applied Disk Brake Quiet to metal contact points on pads. Re-assembled all to specs. Squeal persists when brakes heat up and stops when brakes are applied.
What to check for now? Wear indicator tab may have gotten bent during handling? Re-adjust parking brake to allow more room? Other considerations?
