What would cause engine vibration upon engaging it into gear? Whenever its idling in park, the engine runs smooth. It's driving me nuts!

it sounds like a trans issue either with the torque converter or front clutch pack. you need a trans shop to help you get to the correct diag and conclusion as to what has to be done.
