I paid $397 today for a wheel bearing and hub assembly for my truck, that was just for the wheel bearing/hub. The only information I have on the part is the number 515004. I did some searching on the internet and it looks like this amount is extremely high compared to other places. I've been going to this auto shop for years and have trusted that they are charging me decent prices for parts and labor. I actually know the owner of the shop. I'm wondering if this price could actually be legit, or if they marked up the price way too much. I need to know so that if this is the case, I will start getting my work done somewhere else.
