I have a 1998 Ford Contour GL that I have replaced the front struts on. There appears to rattling now that seems to vibrate with the road conditions. What are the proper torque specs for the nuts and bolts of this particular strut?
It has a better up/down motion but I can hear vibration and rattling which I couldn't before. I'm pretty sure where the strut assembly comes through the wheel well is not tighten to the proper torque specifications but I don't have a manual and I can't find it online.
