1998 Ford Contour 2.0L hose size and name

just go to an autoparts and tell them you need a brake booster hose.

OK so its a break booster hose.. Everytime I tell them what piece I need they tell me I need the size and that they sell it by the foot.

I just called autozone and they are still saying I need the size in diameter.

if thee is still any left of the hose cut a piece off and measure with a tape measure from pipe on intake to brake booster connection then add 1/2" and take it down there. we don't have sizes of hose. it has to be around 1/2 or 3/8" id.

OK so should I buy both? They are pretty cheap. There isn't anything left of the hose, someone took it out for me and now doesn't want to fix it or give the piece back..

thereshold only be one hose leading to the brake booster unless something else goes off of it. if not have someone around who is mechanically inclined to fix this. also when you measure the length add one inch not a half like I said previously. what may also be easier is to measure the piece wher it goes in to brake booster and then let the guys at auto parts know what size it is

I went to auto zone and all they had was just a rubber hose. It didn't look like my piece

then go to a dealer they wil have it or can order it.
