Hello, i would like to know how if i can straight swap a 1.8 Zetec engine into a 1998 escort 1.4 cvh car? the engine lacks power and i have a black top 1.8 zetec engine.

Not without changing a lot of parts. ECM, wiring harness, dash, BCM will all be different. The trans controller and trans itself will be different and may not handle the extra power either.
