how do I tell if I have a bad BCM or just multiple systems failures.

Engine cooling fan will work if jumpered but will not function normally, radio station changes and volume maxs out when van has sat overnight. Wipers work erraticly on intermittent.

You need special test equipment to check the BCM. Make sure there isn't a bad ground that isn't causing the problem.
