1998 Dodge Ram battery and guages

During a boost on the battery, battery acid started boiling out of the battery and my gauges started jumping around.What do I need to do to fix this?

check to see if the battery is frozen

I didn't not expect that answer from HMAC. The battery is bad please be careful handling the battery and follow this guide on how to remove it and then use a garden hose to help wash the battery acid away.
