1998 Chrysler Town and Country water leak

Is it clear water or green coolant? Is it actually coming from the weep hole in the bottom of the transmission's bell housing, or is it dripping from a 4" long rubber tube hanging down from the passenger side of the firewall?

If it's green and coming from the transmission, suspect a corroded core plug in the back of the engine block. If it's clear water coming from that tube, that's humidity that condensed on the air conditioning system's evaporator in the dash, and that is normal, although not in the 9 degrees where I'm sitting right now!

So I'm taking out the transsmision to get to the freeze plugs now do i need to take both front tires and transaxles off to get my transmission off to get tot he plugs

This is a really big job that is almost impossible if the vehicle isn't on a hoist. You don't actually have to remove the wheels and tires but you do need to remove both half shafts. Once the axle nuts are removed, (or even just loosened), it is critical that no vehicle weight be placed on the wheel bearings. Doing so will instantly make them noisy.
