I have a 1998 Chrysler town and country. The back liftgate was damaged. I bought a new one from a salvage yard. When a salvage yard took it out they hacked the wires. Are there any plugs inside the door that I can disconnect from the wire harness? Or do I have to remove the entire wire harness out of my original door to replace it?

There's two plugs behind the top of the lift gate trim panel. You'll have to pull the rubber grommets out at the top to pull the harnesses out.

The plugs are in the body or the liftgate?

Remove the lift gate trim panel, not the head liner.

Awesome, just looked... that will save a ton of work... One last question if you don't mind. The new door does not have an air dam on it like the old one... Is it worth worrying about?

That's supposed to blow air down onto the glass to blow dirt off, but if you drive on dusty roads it puts more dirt on the glass than it blows off. Running without it could potentially increase your fuel mileage a tiny bit.
