Is there an easy way to replace Alternator

I have a 98 Chrysler Sebring coupe with a 2.5L. My alternator just quit on me. Im having ALOT of issues. cant even find where to losten the serpentine belt! then after thats off how are u supposed to get the alternator out and the replacement back in? So little room to work with!

Hope the picture helps.

If you remove the oil filter and oil pressure switch, it may make it easier to get to lower generator bolt.

The info I gave you was for sebring convertible. If you have the coupe let me know, different info for coupe.

Remove it through the bottom of the vehicle. Also, you can gain access to it through the inner fender (passanger side).
