Does them coolant censor make the car run hot or stop the fans from running. My car has being building up pressure and it doesn't release it until the car us completely over heating. I need to find out what could be causing the problem instead of just letting a mechanic take a guess before putting it on a machine and charging me an arm and a leg.

yes the coolant temp.sensor turns the fan on.at a.certain temp.so does.it.overheat according to the gauge or just boil over the cap

Yes its overheating by ?the gauge. Its going pass 210.

what size engine do you have.does the coolant boil over at 210 on.the gauge.

6 Cylinders H 2.5 MFI. Sorry its not boiling at 210. it starts getting hot halfway up ?the gauge.

the low speed fan.doesn't come.on.till.220 and the high speed till 230.are the fans.coming on. at those temps.also is.it.boiling over.if so.what temp.

Okay I just checked and ?the fans aren't coming on and ?the thermostat isn't showing that ?the car is overheating but ?the oil lights comes on.

I don't use ?the ac because it blows out hot. Yes that light is ?the only one coming on

No it only comes on when them car starts to overheat.

some codes will.set without turning the light on please check.for.codes.then.we will.need a jumper wire with a 5 amp.fuse in.it
