I am having issues getting the key to turn. I put key in & try to turn it and it does nothing. I have been out trying every day for two weeks now & finally went & bought a new lock cylinder, I figured out how to change it but now my steering wheel is locked & key won't turn. Any suggestions?

if it wont turn with a new cylinder, then there is another issue in the column. re check your work

I'm not able to change it because it won't turn. No work has been done due to inability to turn key over. Is there any way to get the old one out with it in its locked position?
