we think the water pumps going out and trying to locate the water pump to see if the anti freeze is leaking from the pump could you help?

the water pump is driven by the timing chain in front of the motor and cannot be directly seen under the hood. the back end of the pump is visible under the car. passenegr side on bottom of the motor.

On the 4 cyl, it is near the timing chain housing. The actual pump is under a cover. See attached pic.

yes, you would it is hard to see but if it is leaking it should be easy to find

thank you very very much i did see the seep hole and it is leaking from there this will not be fun this engine is compact not like my truck. Thank you for your patience!!

this is not a repair for home. it is very involved as the timing chain has to be removed. if there is an issue timing it again, you may bend valves adding to the expense
