sorry unsure atm husband is asleep i know its a 4 cyl thats about it

and my child just locked the keys in the car so cant look

the water pump is driven by the timing chain in front of the motor and cannot be directly seen under the hood. the back end of the pump is visible under the car. passenegr side on bottom of the motor.

On the 4 cyl, it is near the timing chain housing. The actual pump is under a cover. See attached pic.

its by the belts etc on the left side of car correct

from under the car would i be able to see the seep hole?

yes, you would it is hard to see but if it is leaking it should be easy to find

thank you very very much i did see the seep hole and it is leaking from there this will not be fun this engine is compact not like my truck. Thank you for your patience!!

this is not a repair for home. it is very involved as the timing chain has to be removed. if there is an issue timing it again, you may bend valves adding to the expense
